story about a veteran coming home and having to deal with PTSD. I feel like I learned
much more since it was someone who was talking about his experience then reading an
article written by someone who hasn’t had to live with PTSD.

how Iraq vets are dealing with PTSD. It also helped me see how many vets become
diagnosed with PTSD when they come home from war.

2. less likely to receive adequate care than others. I also learned that fewer than thirty
percent of the veterans complete the recommended course for treatment in VA.

ap_homelessveterans_080120/>. This article was really interesting to me. It showed me
that not only can veterans with PTSD lose their family, they can also lose everything they
have, including there house. It made me sad when I read this because I couldn’t imagine
coming back from war and just losing everything I had.

Tull, Matthew, Ph.D. E-mail interview. 24 Apr. 2010. Interviewing Dr. Tull helped me
understand what it is like working with veterans who are dealing with PTSD. He also
explained what it’s like for family members and friends.
