The document is an email from Amber Wolfer summarizing the results of an audit of the Holland facility. It identifies several minor discrepancies found between tag weights and system weights that need to be corrected. It praises the improvements in the metals department but notes some areas could be better organized. Overall the audit found no major issues but identifies a few outstanding items for Carlos to resolve.

Good job. You impress me with the way that you encourage the department, yet mention the areas that need
improvement. You are good at this! Keep up the good work.

Subject: Holland NF Audit
This is a rather long list of things that were found during the audit, but don't freak out - these are mostly minor
things. Plus we did check over 200 tags, which is double the normal amount.

572390 - Tag weight was 2743, system weight was 2739. Chris to look at YT 30611294 to verify correct weight.

Overall, your area looked very good Chris. There was definite improvement since I was last over there during the
summer, and you are doing a great job of getting tags into the system quickly and removing them as well. From
my observations, the employees are very safety conscious. Loader drivers were paying close attention to what
was around them. When walking behind a truck, Carlos made sure to get visual confirmation that the driver had
seen him before crossing.
Two areas to mention are #1, the inaccuracies on tags mentioned below. Yard Transfers seem to be a hang up,
so you may want to pay close attention to that process. Please let us know if we can help with that. #2 would be
organization. I know your space is limited, but try to at least get tags of the same commodity code in the same
general area. Hastalloy C for example was stored in at least three separate areas. As you mentioned yourself,
the material in buckets should all be moved to the same area. Also try to face your tags where we have the best
chance of being able to read them without having to get the loader out.
With the high volume of material that is processed by the Metals Dept. you are doing a great job of keeping track
of everything. If Carlos can find those few things mentioned below, then there are no issues with lost or
misplaced material, which is really the most important thing. So, great job Metals Dept, and thanks for your
cooperation today. Please let me know what you find on the things mentioned below within the next few days.
Gung Ho!
