Jon and Melodee have been partnering with Alpine Baptist Church since 2006 to reach Italians and equip them for ministry. Some of their activities have included filling in for senior missionaries by preaching, teaching, and administrative work; focusing on discipleship of youth and evangelism training; and seeing life transformations through bible studies. They were deported in 2007 but their destination is to continue loving, equipping, teaching, and preparing Italians while raising up new church leaders and reaching those without churches, such as students and medical professionals. They request prayer for issues like residence papers, a new church building, Melodee's language schooling, and their evangelism plan.
