Hypertext allows for nonlinear reading experiences by connecting text using links, unlike traditional linear text. It has a micro, meso, and macro structure with the micro being individual links, meso being documents and navigation between them, and macro being the overarching web of connections. The document proposes a new model for conceptualizing hypertext.
