This document outlines a project aimed at changing negative perceptions of homosexuality and HIV/AIDS in the Anglican Church in Nyanga, South Africa. The goal is to educate 65 church members through training on gender-based violence, HIV prevention, and the experiences of lesbians and gay men. The project involves a two-phase training program: phase 1 will train 15 church members who will then facilitate phase 2 by training 50 additional church members. The expected outcomes include increased knowledge and acceptance among church members, more conversation between churches and the LGBT community, and decreased violence against LGBT individuals in Nyanga.
