This document lists over 40 California cities along major highways from Bakersfield to the Oregon border, as well as types of electric vehicle charging stations - DC fast chargers and Level 2 chargers - that are recommended to be placed within a half mile or two miles of the highways. It also notes data sources and that some Tesla superchargers may be over two miles from the highway.
