When the author was young, they joined the water polo team coached by Vadim Arkadievich Medvedev. The daily trainings were very hard but helped the team learn skills like swimming quickly and accurate passing. Though the team was often tired, the coach's encouragement and belief in them kept the players from quitting. That summer, the team won second place in an international water polo competition in Belarus, which was due to the efforts of their dedicated coach. The coach was an idol to the entire team and inspired them to achieve results through his efforts.
