When the author was young, they joined the water polo team coached by Vadim Arkadievich Medvedev. The daily trainings were very hard but helped the team learn skills like swimming quickly and accurate passing. Though the team was often tired, the coach's encouragement and belief in them kept the players from quitting. That summer, the team won second place in an international water polo competition in Belarus, which was due to the efforts of their dedicated coach. The coach was an idol to the entire team and inspired them to achieve results through his efforts.

to the sport section

Daily trainings were very hard. We learned to swim quickly, to
keep the ball in the hand and to give accurate passes. Our
team was very tired after trainings. Sometimes we wanted to
give up, go out from water polo, and most of our team would
do it, but we didn’t do it, thanks to our coach.

He helped us, gave advises.
And we liked this kind of
sport so much as he liked
it.
The coach believed in
everybody of our team. He
hoped that we would be
real sportsmen.

This
summer
we took part
in International
competition
of water polo
in Belarus.
We won the
second place.
Our victory
was the achievement of our coach.

5. 
Our team “MCSA” took part in many
competitions and took prizes. And we always
devoted our victories to our coach.

6. 
We reached results thanks to his efforts.

7. 
For everybody of our team, so as for me,
Vadim Arkadievich is and will be the idol and
the person I would like to be similar.
