The Wakeup-Shocker started out as simply an
alarm clock that gave an electrical shock as
an aid to heavy sleepers.

In order to turn this “worst” idea into a “best”
idea, we did the following:
Looked harder at the potential benefits
Expanded the target market
Add additional uses
4. THE WAKEUP SHOCKER: ADDITIONAL USES
Additional uses include:
Providing a silent alarm for couples who
sleep together but wake up at different times.
Detecting when the user is about to doze off
– for example, behind the wheel.
Administering low level electrical stimulation
for conditions such as arthritis.
