The document provides a vision of two towers of stone representing judgment on America for its sins such as abortion, persecution of Christians, and turning away from God. In the vision, the author sees politicians and other leaders celebrating sins while Christians are beaten. The towers contain levels representing increasing sin and corruption. At the top of the towers presiding over all the sin is Hillary Clinton. The vision indicates God's judgment is coming upon America for its breaking of his laws and covenant.

Mohammed Badie, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, believes that President Morsi will remain in power for at least the next year, despite ongoing unrest. Badie notes that Morsi remains confident of support from 60% of the population and most army rank and file. The opposition will continue protesting and boycotting elections. Morsi is working to finalize an IMF loan and expects upcoming US funds to strengthen the economy and build unity. Army commander General al-Sissi continues to support Morsi for now unless security deteriorates severely.

This article examines a study that surveyed 96 school districts regarding the technology skills expected of new teachers. The study found that districts expect new teachers to seamlessly integrate technology into daily lessons as a supporting tool to enhance learning, rather than teaching technology as a separate subject. Universities can better prepare teachers by modeling technology integration in every course, not just teaching technology skills in isolation. Suggestions include requiring technology use for all coursework and giving preservice teachers hands-on experience with technology during fieldwork.

Bret Harte and Mark Twain in San FranciscoDoctorSequoia
Mark Twain's short story "The Great Quake of '65" provides a first-hand account of the devastating San Francisco earthquake of October 1865. The narrator describes being in downtown San Francisco when the quake struck just after noon, toppling buildings, derailing streetcars, and instantly transforming the quiet streets into scenes of chaos and panic as residents poured out of homes and businesses. The story recounts specific impacts like a four-story brick building collapsing into the street and a man getting trapped in a shattered streetcar window. It conveys the terrifying power of the earthquake and how in an instant it changed the city from a place of "solemn solitude" to "teeming life."

Progressive Era reforms aimed to address problems from rapid industrialization like poverty, urbanization, corruption. Muckraking journalists investigated these issues. Reforms included making government more democratic through initiatives, referendums and recall elections. Women's suffrage and child labor laws were progressive goals. Workplace safety improved following disasters like the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire that killed many workers trapped behind locked doors. Prohibition sought to curb alcohol's social harms through a constitutional amendment.
The idea of Doomsday with its first century End Time ideas has never been adequately explained. Yet 'The End is Nigh' philosophy still hangs around in the twenty-first century with robust tenacity. After 2000 years of looking away from the first century Futurism is the preferred explanation. What did we miss? Whatever it is it must be subtle and very different from present explanations that turn their backs to the first century and toward our own.
But hey, wait a minute! What did Jesus say again? "Truly I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away until all these things come to pass." Mtt 24:34. What if....???
What if He really meant what He said? What if He was talking to His contemporary generation and not us? What if WE are looking the wrong way when we skip the first century and face our third millennium future? What if He was right and WE are wrong? What if it is a matter of a modern mind misunderstanding an ancient book? What if we are just repeating an unfruitful formula of Futurism by ignoring Jesus? And what are the fruits of Futurism? What does a thousand-year historical review of Futurism demonstrate?
History spies the middle ages and the renaissanceKensensei
The document summarizes the differences between life during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance as discovered by three history spies - Ericia, Randy and Xuanyou - on a time traveling mission. In contrast, during the Renaissance, more people including serfs were educated, artists painted secular topics, the church had less influence, and there was more trading and opportunity for social mobility.
