1. DYNAMIC VISCOSITY
Dynamic viscosity is a critical part
and an important parameter for
qualitative process control of a
given liquid. Dynamic viscosity
determination is required for wide
range of products such as
lubricants, oils, fuels etc.
LEMIS process offers the way to optimize your IN PROCESS TO
costs without saving on accuracy and EXCELLENCE WITH
repeatability of your measurements!
LEMIS PROCESS
2. Our customers say: “to control dynamic
viscosity means to control quality of the
product”. It means faultless equipment that
provides qualitative production, no errors,
no downtimes, costs optimization and
economy.
LEMIS process viscometers range secure
stabile continuous control at any conditions.
All required measurement methods are
supported: continuous in-tank or in-line;
repeatable by portable meters (using
submersible sensors without sampling or
laboratory sensors with sampling). It is not
an exaggeration to say that LEMIS process
meters can operate everywhere and give the
most accurate measurements.
LEMIS Process offers a turnkey solution for
your process industry, providing many
advantages to you as a customer. An
individual approach, flexibility, tailored to
your process solutions.
3. Briefly about company

worldwide
5. Unique resonant tube technology
The LEMIS process sensor comprises of a vibrating tube
sensor, drive electronics and signal processing electronic.
6. Resonant tube advantages
ü Cylinder shape has symmetric
geometry
ü Repeatable mechanical
manufacturing
ü Repeatable metal structure
ü Low own mass of the sensor
ü Washed on either side by
measured liquid eliminates
pressure effect
ü Allows both density and viscosity
measurement
ü Ni-Span-C material offering low
temperature expansion factor

10. PORTABLE METERS
Forget sampling for VM-250.1
and VM-250.2!
Quickly measures dynamic
viscosity of a liquid product in
tank.
Measures level of liquid
products in the tank.
They’re economical and easy to
operate.
VM-250.1
Calibration couldn’t be
simpler just use
standard liquids.
VM-250.2 Select a VM version
according to the testing depths
you require.
VM-250.1 plunges to 6 meters, while VM-250.2 reports
dynamic viscosity and temperature measurements at
30 meter depths in seconds.
VM-250.3 Measures highly viscous liquids up to 1200 cP.
11. Calibration
Calibration of LEMIS process is
performed in-house according
ISO9001:2000 quality
assurance program by using
calibration materials that are
traceable to national standards.
In-house calibration and testing
is performed specified
dedicated calibration protocol
for every standard model of the
sensor. For most applications,
on-site calibration is generally
not required. LEMIS process
sensors allows simple, switch-
and-go field installation.
12. Applications
Viscosity and temperature monitoring in storage tanks
Petroleum products, fuels, lubricants, LPG, LNG
Concentrations of acids or corrosive chemical
Food, Dairy & Beverages
Product identification and consistency
Concentration and dilution measurement
Monitoring of reaction end in reactors
In-tank mixing and blending
13. Advantages
Continuous measurements
Easy cleaning
High accuracy
Simple installation
Suitable for very viscous liquids
Wide range of applications
Rigorous factory calibration
Automatic temperature compensation
Compact design
