Welcome & Agenda
• Around the Zoom Intros
• Review Groundrules
• Ice Breakers
• Break-Out Groups
• Closing and Next Book Selection
Groundrules
• This needs to be a SAFE SPACE
• We are talking about a heavy and tough topic, and we’re
all examining it through our own perspectives
• Listen actively -- respect others when they are
talking.
• Speak from your own experience instead of
generalizing
• The goal is not to agree -- it is to gain a deeper
understanding. It is okay to disagree as long as it's
done respectfully.
• Maintain confidentiality. Personal stories shared in
Book Club are not intended to be shared broadly.
