Mount Etna is the tallest and most active volcano in Europe, standing at 10,922 feet tall. Volcanic activity first began under the sea half a million years ago off the coast of Sicily. Between 35,000 and 15,000 years ago, Mount Etna experienced some highly explosive eruptions that generated large pyroclastic flows. It remains in an almost constant state of eruptive activity today.

The document discusses Galina Lalova's background and interests in architecture, urban design, and visualization. It provides an overview of some of her coursework and projects from 2013-2015, including a private villa design, a public building for spiritual experience, and a redesign of a public square in Lund. The document also includes a bachelor thesis examining social interactions and mixed-use environments in the city of Patras, Greece.
This document provides a report on future elevator design concepts by Galina Lalova. The report was completed as part of an internship at Åhmans i Åhus, an elevator company in Sweden. The report explores new concepts for elevators that have emerged in the last 10 years in response to changing needs. It presents concepts for various building projects and discusses new materials that could be applied to elevator design. It also includes a survey of young people's values and visions for future design. The goal is to inspire architects, building owners, and consultants with innovative elevator concepts.
Concept design for elevators is important for new buildings with unusual structures, sustainable designs, and those meant to create experiences. Concept design provides a wide view of possibilities at low cost and frames problems in a way that makes solutions easier. Some technical concepts discussed include double deck systems, destination control systems, and ropeless multi-car lifts. Inspiration comes from spaces like the deep sea and concepts like space elevators. Psychological experiences can be created through challenge and social situations. New materials and lighting design provide opportunities for unique elevator concepts.

14. I hedran for Dionysos
