This document describes a vehicle security and safety system using embedded systems. The system uses an alcohol sensor and eye blink sensor to detect intoxicated or impaired drivers. If either sensor detects a problem, it will transmit a message with the vehicle's location from the GPS to a GSM receiver. The system aims to prevent vehicle accidents and save lives by providing safety measurements in vehicles.

2. ABSTRACT
 This project is used as a security system for
vehicle.
 We are using alcohol sensor and eye blink
sensor in our security system.
 If any one of the parameter is sensed to the
message will be transmitted to the GSM
receiver.
 GPS is used to find the location of the vehicle.

 Nowadays in vehicles no safety
measurements are available.
 Now we introducing some safety
measurements in vehicles

 It is a combination of hardware and software.
 Software control the hardware.
 It is a computing device used to do the specific

7. GPS AND GSM
GPS
o GPS means global positioning system.
o It is used to find the location of the earth.
GSM
o GSM – Global System for Mobile
communication.
o GSM used to sent the message from one
person to another person.

8. ALCOHOL SENSOR
o The sensor model is TGS 822.
o It is used to detect the drug person.
Application
1. Breathe alcohol detectors.
2. Gas leak detector or alarm.

1. High sensitivity to organic solvent vapors such as
ethanol.
2. High stability and reliability over a long period

9. EYE BLINK SENSOR
 Eye Movement Measurements:Usually pairs of electrodes
are placed either above and below the eye or the left and
right of the eye.
 If the eye is moved from the centre position towards the
electrode this electrode “sees” the positive side of the
retina and the opposite and the opposite electrode “sees”
the negative side of the retina.
 A potential difference occurs between the
electrodes.Assuming that the resting potential is
constant,the recorded potential is a measure for the eye
position.

10. VIBRATION SENSOR
 The piezoelectric is used here.
 It is a device that uses the piezoelectric
effect to measure pressure acceleration,
strain or force by converting them to an
electrical charge.

11. RELAY
 Relay is used as a switch.
 It is used to on and off the buzzer and the
motor.
 It works at 12v DC.

12. LCD SCREEN
LCD - Liquid Crystal Display.
LCD display is used to display the characters
and alphabets.

13. RECEIVER
It is a receiving and mobile unit.
To used to mobile phone
numbers(Eg.108,100,198)

14. ADVANTAGES
 It will prevent from vehicle accident .
 It will save Human life and also prevent from
heavy damage.
 It also saves money indirectly and benefit for
Government.

15. APPLICATION
 This system is very useful for vehicle system.
 Also for other system such as
Roadways(Bus, Cars).

16. CONCLUSION
 This project will be highly useful if it is done
in large scale for the betterment of the public.
