          Additional Housing Information       Valleyfair provides employee housing. Our on-site housing holds approximately 420 employees. Housing
                                               is reserved for you once you are hired. You will have to follow directions for living in housing. The
                                               housing instructions will be given to you when you are hired. You will sign a housing form that
                                               authorizes Valleyfair to take your rent from pay.
          Guidelines                           Must be able to clearly hear, read, comprehend and verbally explain instructions in the English
                                               language. Criminal background checks are necessary for all employees in security, finance and
                                               housing positions.
          Employee Benefits                    Discounts at local businesses, weekly employee social events, parties, dances, sports tournaments, free
                                               entrance to the park and transportation is provided to local areas and shopping. You can earn an extra
                                               $.70-$1.00 per hour bonus for every hour worked throughout the summer by fulfilling your Offer of
                                               Employment and being an employee in good standing at the end of the season.

          Resort Summary                       Valleyfair Family Amusement Park opened its gates 35 years ago with 20 rides and attractions on 26
                                               acres in Shakopee, Minnesota. The initial park investment was $7.5 million. The park was created and
                                               built by two local businessmen whose dream it was to build an amusement park that would provide
                                               entertainment for the entire family. In August of 1974, construction of Valleyfair began. When the park
                                               opened in 1976, it included extensive land development, rides, attractions, buildings and landscaping.
                                               High Roller--the sole roller coaster--was the main attraction. The first two years of operation were
                                               successful. Wanting to capitalize on this success and continue with an accelerated expansion plan,
                                               Valleyfair’s management determined they needed additional investors. In 1978, Cedar Point in
                                               Sandusky, Ohio acquired Valleyfair, under the management of Cedar Fair Limited Partnership. The
                                               acquisition allowed Valleyfair to keep its accelerated expansion plan and also gave the park the
                                               expertise of one of the largest amusement parks in the world. The park continues to grow every year
                                               with new rides and attractions. Since 1976, Valleyfair has invested over $96 million into the park. Today,
                                               Valleyfair is the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest with eight thrilling roller coasters, Soak
                                               City Waterpark and more than 75 rides and attractions on 90 acres of land. When the park debuted in
                                               1976, there were 900 seasonal employees and 63 full-time staff. Today, there about 70 year-round
                                               employees. This season, about 1,600 seasonal employees will be hired. Working at Valleyfair means
                                               being part of a team. You will be working along side other people from different areas and you will lots of
                                               interaction with guests to the park. You will walk to work daily and enjoy the employee cafeteria on your
                                               breaks. The Shakopee area is a suburb of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. There are lots of
                                               attractions in these cities and in Shakopee. Here is a link to area attractions:

                                               Hours will be less during this time. You may not have 30 hours per week. Some hours of prep work will
                                               be available during the week. In October we operate Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. You should
                                               get back to 30 hours per week in October.

Community Medium Community Resort Summary Valleyfair Family Amusement Park opened its gates 35 years ago with 20 rides and attractions on 26 acres in Shakopee, Minnesota. The initial park investment was $7.5 million. The park was created and built by two local businessmen whose dream it was to build an amusement park that would provide entertainment for the entire family. In August of 1974, construction of Valleyfair began. When the park opened in 1976, it included extensive land development, rides, attractions, buildings and landscaping. High Roller--the sole roller coaster--was the main attraction. The first two years of operation were successful. Wanting to capitalize on this success and continue with an accelerated expansion plan, Valleyfair’s management determined they needed additional investors. In 1978, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio acquired Valleyfair, under the management of Cedar Fair Limited Partnership. The acquisition allowed Valleyfair to keep its accelerated expansion plan and also gave the park the expertise of one of the largest amusement parks in the world. The park continues to grow every year with new rides and attractions. Since 1976, Valleyfair has invested over $96 million into the park. Today, Valleyfair is the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest with eight thrilling roller coasters, Soak City Waterpark and more than 75 rides and attractions on 90 acres of land. When the park debuted in 1976, there were 900 seasonal employees and 63 full-time staff. Today, there about 70 year-round employees. This season, about 1,600 seasonal employees will be hired.
