They then enjoyed a Valentine's Day party with snacks provided by parents, though some were less healthy than others. Finally, they opened Valentine's Day cards and read the sweet messages to their friends, making it a great day.

1. Valentine’s Day Our Valentine’s Day activities began in the morning during reading. Red, pink, and purple hearts showed long, short, and other vowel sounds.

8. And Now the Fun! Soon it was time for our Valentine’s Day Party. Our wonderful parents provided great snacks. Some were good for our hearts and some weren’t as good for us, but they sure tasted wonderful. Thanks parents. We had enough to celebrate for two more afternoons.

20. Valentine’s Day Cards Finally it was time to open our Valentine’s Day cards. Sweet messages were read and shared with friends. It was a GREAT day.
