This document provides an overview of using audio in teaching and learning, including introducing Voki for creating animated figures with voiceovers, podcasting and what it is and why one might want to use it, and Audacity for audio editing. It shares some example podcast links and instructs seeing Claire for a presentation on using Audacity. The goal is for participants to set up a Voki account, create a Voki, embed it in a blog, understand podcasting and how to use it, and become familiar with Audacity by the end of the session.
