Brandon Sandlin and Robert Mutter created a video presentation on chemistry lab safety dos and don'ts for their high school chemistry class. They made three videos demonstrating don'ts, such as not wearing gloves or goggles, having loose clothing or jewelry, and eating or drinking in the lab. They also made three videos demonstrating dos, such as always wearing goggles to protect the eyes, avoiding loose clothing or jewelry that could catch fire, and not bringing food or drinks into the lab to avoid accidentally ingesting chemicals. The videos were designed to teach basic lab safety procedures to students.
