NMMPLandscapes in Spain can be classified into two main types: natural and humanized. Natural landscapes are influenced by geographical relief, climate, vegetation, and animal life. They include mountain ranges on the Meseta plateau, mountainous areas outside the Meseta, deciduous forests, large lowland areas, Mediterranean forests and scrubland, and alpine landscapes. Spain's diverse landscapes are also classified into five main geographical areas, including the mountain ranges bordering the Meseta plateau.
