BEAUTIFUL SPOT IN BRGY. SAN RAMON
A Barangay along the entrance to Bulan is SAN RAMON, one of the sixty three (63)
Barangays in this municipality, known before as “CAPACOHAN” since the place is filled
With ferns or “paco ”.
Several years had passed; the name of the place was change to “SAN RAMON”, in
Honor of a saint named SAN RAMON NONATO, the patron saint of pregnant women,
Who was known to be helpful in his work as an male midwife or “ hilot”.

San Ramon is one of the biggest Barangays In Bulan with a total land area of two
Hundred Seventy Eight Hectares (278) including two (2) sitios namely: Burabod and
Kabungahan Saday . Twenty Six (26) hectares of the said area are rice field and
Remaining area is upland. Thus farming is the primary occupation of the residents .
Seventy percent (70%) of them engaged in copra, two (2) percent are employees . 0.5%
Are engaged in business as in sari-sari store.
This Barangay has 278 households . The people are mostly Catholic with a
Presentable chapel ; some are from other religious organizations.
As a Barangay, it is administered by a Punong Barangay and members of
the Sangguniang Barangay elected by the populance during a designated election
Time.

A barangay , 7.8 kilometers away from the Bulan proper , is now in the process
Of development with an establish Elementary School since 1935 (considered as
One of the oldest Elementary School in Bulan ). It has a concrete basketball court,
park for recreation , Barangay Hall, Health Center , Day Care, street lightings and
Deep wells for water source of the residents and a newly reconstructed footbridge.

San Ramon has also a “water falls “as the “ ubo ” that if ever developed could
be a tourist spot.
Nevertheless, the administration is trying the best they can do to promote a
Better and favorable way of living for the constituents.
