3. NDT Training Programs Exams
The examination will be in accordance with ASNT
Std. SNT-TC-1A by ASNT Level III Professional.
Candidates are encouraged to bring an electronic
calculator. Programmable calculators are permitted
as long as it does not have an alphanumeric keyboard.
No other books, paper, or charts will be allowed.
Candidates are permitted to use a translation
dictionary. No electronic dictionaries will be allowed.
Candidates should plan to arrive at the examination
site at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled
examinations. No one will be admitted after an
examination has started. Candidates will receive results
within a week after the exam. For certification related
training courses, candidates will receive their certificates

Vision Requirements
Vision examination shall be administered by an ophthalmologist. The visual examination date must be within
12 months of the date that this form is signed. The form below may be used to document this requirement.
Near distance vision:
Must have visual acuity in at least one eye capable of reading the Jaeger J2 test chart, or equivalent, at a distance
of not less than 30.5cm (12in.)

Must be able to differentiate between the colors used in the NDT methods in which certification is sought.
