Nepal, a Himalayan Haven, beckons adventurers with its majestic peaks, enchanting landscapes, and a tapestry of diverse cultures. Nestled within its tapestry are the legendary treks that weave tales of resilience, discovery and awe-inspiring beauty. Each step on the rugged trails is a journey through time and tradition, a dance between the ancient and the untouched.
The Himalayan skyline, adorned with snow-capped giants, sets the stage for these treks. Everest Base Camp, a pilgrimage for intrepid, introduces trekkers to the realm of the world's highest peaks. The air becomes thinner, but the spirit soars higher with every ascent, culminating in the humbling presence of the mighty Everest.
Venturing west, the Annapurna Circuit unveils a symphony of landscapes — terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and high alpine deserts. Villages perched on hillsides reveal the warmth of local hospitality, as trekkers share tales with Gurung and Thakali communities. The Annapurna Sanctuary, a hidden amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks, becomes a sanctuary for those seeking solace in nature's grandeur.
For those in pursuit of tranquility, the Rara Lake trek unveils a remote gem in Northwestern Nepal. The trail winds through untouched wilderness, revealing pristine lakes, dense forests, and a rare glimpse into the lives of the Thakuri and Magar communities. As trekkers traverse high mountain passes, they enter a realm where time slows, and the beauty of nature takes center stage.
In the heart of the Annapurna region, the Mardi Himal trek invites explorers on a journey of discovery. The path meanders through rhododendron-laden forests and traditional villages, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare ranges. The Mardi Himal Base Camp, a hidden sanctuary, allows trekkers to gaze upon the sacred Machhapuchhre, a mountain that has eluded summiteers in reverence.
These treks are not mere adventures; they are odysseys of the soul. Along the trails, teahouses become havens of warmth and camaraderie, where weary trekkers share laughter and stories. Local cuisine tantalizes taste buds, providing a taste of the rich culinary tapestry that mirrors the cultural diversity of Nepal.
The beauty of Nepal treks lies not only in the physical landscapes but in the cultural mosaic that adorns the trails. Encounter ancient monasteries, prayer wheels spinning with devotion, and festivals that echo through the valleys. The vibrant tapestry of Nepal's people, traditions, and spirituality intertwines seamlessly with the natural wonders that grace the Himalayan landscapes.
In the realm of Nepal treks, every step is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, a celebration of nature's wonders, and an invitation to explore the unknown.

It can even be life threatening if proper safety measures are not taken. No kidding, we have actually seen riders losing their life while on the bike for some silly mistakes.
So here are some of the safety measures which you can take care of while planning your road journey.
The Relative Issue Of Acute Mountain Sickness While Climbing A Mountain365Hops
"The glittering shine of height seems so beautiful, but every beautiful rose has its own thorns!"
Climbing a mountain has always allured people from far overseas for its adventure and beauty. We get excited by the very idea of imagining our self of standing on the peak of the mountain. The feeling of summiting the peak of the mountain, the dare and the passion are like addictive drugs. You never get enough of it.
But reaching the height is not that simple, it has a monster called 'AMS' waiting for you in between.
AMS Bole To? (AMS Meaning?)
AMS stands for Acute Mountain Sickness. It is a condition in which, one has an adverse effect of hypoxia at an altitude above 2500 m. In simple terms, you start feeling anxious and face various health issues due to the shortage of oxygen on height. Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, Increase in heart rate, breathlessness, headache, depression, weakness, insomnia, and irritability are all common symptoms of AMS.
How Do AMS Occur?
As altitude increases about 2500 m, its atmospheric pressure decreases. Due to which the oxygen molecules per breath is reduced, which in turn means heart and lungs need to work overtime in order to compensate. Due to which it ultimately leads to AMS.
Treatment:
• Drink lots of water (at least 4 liters per day).If necessary then take a couple of ibuprofen or paracetamol for headache.
• Rest once symptoms have occurred. It could take two to three days. It should be ok to continue ascending once you are fine.
• If your symptoms are severe, then even Diamox or any other medication (such as Dexamethasone) can’t help you. Your only option is to descend.
• In case of severe AMS symptoms, Descend immediately (at least 500m). Seek medical attention ASAP.

“It’s a conical pinnacle upside down
It stands freely with pride and glory
A stairway cuts right through its greenery
The mystic fog slowly flies behind it
The sight of it makes you travel back in time
It makes you curious to wonder about its existence
Because such a thing is a jewel of history”
Kalavantin Durg, little did I know about this pinnacle. So when a friend of mine asked me, I instantly roped in few more friends along with me. I had to raise my bum early morning at 4 to catch the gigantic electronic caterpillar (train) from Andheri. There were 3 more friends along with me.
We were supposed to go to Kalavantin Durg, the other being Prabal Gad from where you can see the magical Kalavantin Durg. Prabalmachi opens to a beautiful valley from where winds flow so strongly that you can’t even stand properly. The sudden drop of the cliff is scary as you stand near the edge to adore this beauty. The bright sunlight piercing through dark clouds made a dramatic sight on the lush green landscape. The dreamy illustration of nature was alluring.

Karnataka’s landscape is a vibrant blend of quiet, rolling plains that merge seamlessly into majestic mountains, interspersed by gushing waterfalls that flow into bubbling rivers flowing placidly through towns and villages where it appears that the clocks haven’t been wound. Skirting the rivers and passing by the fringes of villages are highways that lead to insistently throbbing city life, no different from the hustle and bustle of any other city. But for the intrepid trekkers and adventure tourists, Karnataka abounds with opportunities for rock-climbing, rappelling, cave exploration, and river rafting.

Valley of Flowers, by its name is an enchanting valley full of different type of flowers blooming through the year. Hundreds of beautiful flowers bloom in vivid colors in this captivating valley during summer. There are around 300 species of flora, and the valley also supports a large number of rare and endangered flower species and also some of the threatened medicinal plants. Orchids, poppies, primulas, marigold, daisies and anemones usually carpet the ground with an army of flowers.
But it is not only for the carpet of flowers you should go for. “We couldn’t see the famously presented carpet of flowers as shown in the pictures, but the alluring scenery and breathtaking landscapes were enough reason for us to forget that and in fact it was beyond our expectations” said one of my friends who visited Valley of Flowers (VOF) not in the best season but still came back satisfied.

The eddying waters, the thrill of anticipation of the next turn, adrenaline pumping through your veins as you grip the paddle tightly doing everything in your strength to manoeuvre the raft to safety. Sounds like a scene from a ship wreck movie where you are vying for your last breath? But actually it's not. This is something that you can experience if you go river rafting in the white, swirling waters of the rivers flowing in Zanskar Valley. Ladakh is one of the coldest places to be inhabited on the face of this earth and Zanskar Valley is a part of this cold desert town. The Indus River, locally known as "Singhe Khobabs" (literally meaning out of a lion's mouth) flows through this quaint place providing a perfect stretch for thrill seekers among the Zanskar Range. The part of the mighty river flowing through Zanskar offers white waters of difficulty grade II to IV on the International Scale of River Difficulty.
The Indus originates from the Mansarovar Lake at the gigantic Kailash Mountain in Tibet and traverses through the crown of India, Kashmir, and merges with Shayok to become the major Indus in Pakistan. The water levels are usually low in the Ladakh region but during the monsoon months of June to late August the measly water flow gets a new lease of life and roars forth and becomes an impeccable destination for white water rafting.
