Spirit festival2015
The Lindbergh Schools Spirit Festival Parade will begin at 9am on Concord School Road, traveling west to Roxanna before crossing Lindbergh Blvd onto the LHS campus. The opening ceremonies will take place at the Main Stage at 10am. The parade will feature the Lindbergh Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band, cheerleaders, pom squads, fire department, historical vehicles, board members, teachers and more. After the parade, festival goers can enjoy games, rides, food and more activities at the sports challenge and carnival on the LHS campus.

2) Various games and activities will be available at the sports challenge including a soccer penalty kick challenge, dunk tank, and washers tournament.
3) The festival will also feature face painting, pony rides, a silent auction, yearbook sales, and rides provided by a carnival company.
St. Stephen Protomartyr Vendor Event
A chicken dinner and boutique event will take place on Friday, November 7th from 4-8pm at St. Stephen Protomartyr School & Parish Center. The dinner will offer kids meals for $6 and adult meals for $8. The boutique will feature home goods, crafts, foods and more just in time for the holidays. Attendance prizes and raffles will also be held throughout the evening.

To attend the 8th grade recognition event on May 29th, students must have paid any fines and not be required to attend summer school for academic or attendance reasons. To be promoted to the next grade level, students must pass core subjects, maintain at least 95% attendance, and achieve a minimum 1.5 GPA according to the student handbook. A card sale fundraiser will take place from March 10th to 24th.

Midwest Recycling is a certified electronics recycler that has a zero landfill policy and will accept most electronics except smoke detectors, lamps, and fluorescent bulbs.

Girls should wear knee-length dresses without backless styles to the 8th grade formal on Friday, May 17th from 6-9 PM at Truman Middle School. Boys should wear pants and ties. Snack donations such as popcorn, water, soda, pretzels and chips are being collected from May 13th-15th for the dance and should be dropped off at the school. Track And Field Opportunities
- 1. Upcoming Track and Field Opportunities—Middle School Girls Any middle school-aged young ladies from either of the Lindbergh middle schools are welcome to participate in the upcoming Winter Track Academy. The Winter Track Academy starts on December 3rd, a Monday, and continues for six Mondays. The Academy will include speed development drills that include teaching proper running form, reducing contact times and proper acceleration techniques. The sessions will also include technique work in the hurdling events and jumping events. The information for the Academy is attached. In the spring, the middle school track and field season will start up around March 12th. After 3-4 weeks of two practices per week, there will be typically be four meets, one per week. The focus of middle school track is the races. There are three field events, high jump, long jump and shot put. The races range from the 100m (one straightaway on a track) to the 1 mile (1600m – four laps). There are two relay races as well. The meets are typically on Wednesdays. Practices last year were on Tuesday and Thursdays prior to the competitions, then Tuesdays only when the meets began. Distance runners practiced on Mondays, instead of Tuesdays, when the meets began. Next summer we will have our 2nd annual Summer Track Academy. This will take place at the LHS track stadium. THIS IS THE MAIN PRIORITY FOR YOUNG TRACK ATHLETES. If you can only participate in one of these opportunities, make it this. The weather, use of the outdoor facilities and time available per session make this the perfect place for a young athlete to develop their skills.
