수업계획서년도 2 / Syllabus Year 2
강의소개 / Introduction to teaching / After a brief review of the history of Civil Law we will discuss Civil Law
issues.
수업목표 / Instructional Objectives / To have a better understanding of Civil law in general and how it has
developed.
수업진행/ Classes in progress/ Students will study and discuss issues in class. Assignments will be issues that
need to be researched for the next class. Students are expected to participate in their groups and to be
ready to answer questions asked by the professor.
교재/ Textbook / We will not use a textbook this class. Most presentations will be ppt or pdf and provided to
the students online.
평가 / Evaluation / 75%: Final Exam: Presentation of assigned issue; 5%: multiple-choice mid-term quiz; 20%:
Class Participation and Attendance.
It is possible but not certain that one or two students will have their grades raised or lowered based on oral class
participation of distinctive quality.

October 23rd – The Legal Process
October 25rd – The Division of Jurisdiction
October 30th – Legal Categories
November 1st – Civil Procedure
November 6th – Criminal Procedure
November 8th – Constitutional Review
November 13th – Perspectives
November 15th – The Future of the Civil Law Tradition
November 20th – Final Exam Groups 1&2 presentation of the Future of the Civil Law Tradition (30 minutes each).
November 22nd – Final Exam Groups 3&4 presentation of the Future of the Civil Law Tradition (30 minutes each).
November 27th – Final Exam Groups 5&6 presentation of the Future of the Civil Law Tradition (30 minutes each).
November 29th – Final Exam Groups 7&8 presentation of the Future of the Civil Law Tradition (30 minutes each).
December 4th – 6th Final Exam Groups 9&10 presentation of the Future of the Civil Law Tradition (30 minutes
each).
면담시간 / Face time – Professor available at the Department of Law Building, Room 208 on Tuesdays and
Thursdays at 6 p.m.
