Florence, Italy is an
especially popular
destination for those
interested in Art and Art
History. Being famous for
its countless museums
and historical background
during the
Renaissance, students
enjoy earning 12-13 credits
per semester studying
some of the most
celebrated works of all
time.

3. #2: Paris, France
Another city ruled by its love for Art, Paris
attracts thousands of study abroad
students every year. UConn students can
earn up to 18 credits per semester
while studying topics ranging from Art
history to Cooking to Philosophy. Students
enrolled must take a French language course
to assist in their time abroad and to fully
immerse themselves into the French culture.

4. #3: London, England
London, England is a popular choice for
students because it allows travel and
cultural immersion without the added
burden of a language barrier. Students
studying in the UConn in London program
earn 12-15 credits per semester. This
destination is especially desirable for those
studying business, as there are multiple
interesting courses offered in this area.

5. #4: Barcelona, Spain
For those who love
warm weather and Spanish
beaches, Barcelona is the
perfect study abroad
destination. Through an
exchange program with either
CIEE or IES, students can take
classes that will earn them
12-15 credits per semester.

the magnificent architecture

6. #5: Sydney, Australia
Being the only top study
abroad choice that is not
located in Continental
Europe, Sydney offers a
location rich in beauty. The
flora and fauna in Australia
are a major draw for students,
and through a third party
organization like AustraLearn,
Uconn students can enjoy the
beautiful Australian wildlife
while earning internship or
course credit through a
partnership with the University
of Sydney.
