The Nordic countries of Denmark, Norway, and Iceland topped the list of the world's happiest countries according to the 2016 World Happiness Report. These countries scored highest in measures of GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, social freedom, generosity, and absence of corruption. Finland, Switzerland, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia rounded out the top ten happiest countries.
