arts. I am currently the President/COO of ELO Corporation, the parent company of the Suzanne
Somers portfolio of companies. I have worked with Ms. Jones in her capacity as an on-air host of

her extraordinary ability in this regard.
Suzanne Somers, Alan Hamel, and I have worked together for 17 years. We have built various
companies over that time frame with most of them being in the Health and Beauty field. Ms.
Somers has also written 25 books and most of them have been NY Times best sellers. These
books have been primarily in the health and wellness field. As a result, we have vast experience
in direct to consumer sales and marketing and promotion. Our expertise ranges all the way from
product inception and development to sales and marketing execution in various distribution
channels . ..with ShopNBC being one of those. We also currently have over 300 active products

We have worked in partnership with oth The Shopping Channel and ShopNBC to promote
Suzanne Somers' full line of premium health and beauty products for several years and always
with great success. Some of these products include but are not limited to, The Facemaster
Platinum, Crystalift Professional Microdermabrasion, EZ Gym, Total Thigh Trainer,
Thighmaster Gold, Health Supplements, Suzanne Somers Organics skin care for bath and body
ad well as Protein bars and health shakes. When our products have been paired with Ms. Jones as
the on-air host we have full faith and confidence that our sales levels will be very high,
irrespective of the type of product being sold. She consistently demonstrates a breadth of
knowledge with respect to our products, and her connection to her audience is translated into a
significant rate of dollars per minute.
Ms. Jones possesses a unique skill set which is not easily found among others within this niche
industry. Not only does she maintain a striking on-air presence and authority, but she leverages
her background in brand marketing and her outstanding ability to influence and drive sales
through up to date and extensive industry knowledge and articulation, to successfully promote
our products across a variety of commodities and price points. With Ms. Jones as our host, we

I am writing to provide confirmation that Ms. Tiffany Jones is an internationally recognized and
highly respected on-air television host within the home shopping industry. Ms. Jones possesses a
rare combination of technical expertise and personal comfort in front of the camera and a live
audience that only a few people in the world possess. Her ability in this regard has a direct and
positive impact on viewership for the home shopping networks on which she appears, and sales
for their clients whose products she showcases.
During my more than 25 years in the TV Shopping Industry, both in front of and behind the
camera, I have learned both identify and nurture the particular type of talents which enable an
on-air host to connect with a viewer and to perform a complete and compelling product
demonstration. The ability to be simultaneously informative, entertaining and available is very
rare in any arena, and is the ability that I recognized in Tiffany Jones at first exposure.
In my previous capacity as Vice President, On-Air Talent with ShopNBC, it was my
responsibility to recruit and maintain top professionals to serve as on-air hosts for the network's
home shopping programs. The level of difficulty in finding such talent cannot be understated.
The role of an on-air host is a difficult one and requires the person serving in this capacity to
have a variety of skills, many of which are innate characteristics and all but impossible to teach.
One cannot, for example, train an individual to be comfortable in front of the camera, or have the
physical and mental presence required to connect with an audience in a live television broadcast.
Given that there are currently 3 main home shopping networks in the U.S., it's likely that there
are less than 30 people in the country who have the ability to function in this role, and Ms. Jones
is one of those people.
Ms. Jones first came to my attention through several of our vendors who also present their
product lines on The Shopping Channel (TSC), the preeminent shopping channel in Canada.
After reviewing her on-air work it quickly became apparent that Ms. Jones was truly an
exceptional talent and a top prospect among all available host candidates. She was ultimately
selected for the position and became a full-time host for ShopNBC in the U.S. in August 2012.
Ms. Jones was brought to the ShopNBC team in large part due to her mastery of her craft. She
possesses a rare blend of technical expertise and personal comfort in front of the camera that few
of us ever achieve. Ms. Jones was also a highly sought after talent because of the versatility she
demonstrated through her work with TSC. While it is not unusual for a top host to excel in two
or three product categories, it is rare indeed to find a true generalist who is equally accomplished

across every product category in the television shopping arsenal. Ms. Jones is such a generalist.
She has proven herself to be as comfortable and adept at showcasing skin care and beauty
products as she is at promoting clothing lines and exercise equipment. Because of the nature of
the position there has always been paucity of qualified applicants for on-air hosting positions
across the industry. Given her qualifications and abilities, Ms. Jones is truly a rare and unique
talent.
It should also be noted that along with her on screen presence and product versatility, Ms. Jones'
skills as an on-air host are manifest in her high rate of per-minute sales. Sometimes referred to as
dollars-per-minute (DPM), this critical metric is used across the home shopping industry to
measure the impact a host can have on the products he/she is assigned to host, and to provide
comparisons across product ranges or between hosts. Retail partners are often availed of DPM
rates for given hosts and are thus aware of the impact a given on-air host can have on the sales of
their products. In Tiffany's case, her impact was immediately visible. As is the case with all new
hosts, Tiffany started in the overnight hours, and within weeks was beginning to achieve DPM
levels that would be expected only in the more profitable parts of the day.
For the reasons outlined above I believe Ms. Jones to be a truly extraordinary talent in the home
shopping industry, and eminently deserving of permanent residence in the U.S. based on her
unique abilities and her extraordinary abilities in the arts.

in August 2012. I have worked with beauty as a commodity within TV sales for many years and knew
Tiffany to be exceptional from day one. Her presentation, on air performance and unique combination

immediate and positive impact on the business and the team. ShopNBC is a 24/7 television and
internet based home shopping retailer; our business model requires on air personalities, or hosts,
that engage with and sell to the television viewers. On air hosting for home shopping requires
the ability to both drive sales but also connect with the viewers on an emotional and sincere level
to build trust.
Ms. Jones talent combines a sincere arid confident on air style with the ability to drive sales. She
has and maintains a very high quality and style in her on air appearance. Her confidence and
ease in front of the camera sets her apart from the average show host on television whether in the
shopping arena or other fields. Our viewers and customers enjoy watching Ms. Jones on air as

Inless than one year tenure Ms. Jones has achieved above average sales and productivity results
in the categories of Jewelry, Fashion and Home Soft for the day part in which she has
concentrated her on air time. Continuing that success into 2013 Ms. Jones has achieved above
average results acquiring new customers as measured by her new names/minute. Inparticular ,
Ms Jones has proven instrumental in driving specific ShopNBC exclusive brands such as our
Suzanne Somers beauty and skin care line. For this brand, Ms. Jones achieved impressive results
in both sales and new customer acquisition ($1,001 Dollars Per Minute and 2.19 New Names Per
Minute).
Ms. Jones couldn't have arrived at ShopNBC at more opportune time. In October 2012, just two
months after joining the host core, Ms. Jones offered a seasoned eye and experience with a
category of product new to ShopNBC--Borghese. The scheduled guest for this product was
unable to travel at the last minute to present the TTV. Because we were already confident with
Ms. Jones' hosting performance in the beauty category, and knew she had past experience in the
ShopNBC
medical spa and modeling arenas, she was selected from a host core of over 17 hosts to salvage
what would have been a dire sales situation.
In addition to her sales contribution, Ms Jones has also proven to be a talented, effective and well
liked host amongst her colleagues and our vendors. In this regard Ms. Jones is more than just an
on air host, but a positive ambassador of the company both internally with our employees and in

worked for the past 3 years at The Shopping Channel. Tiffany is by far, one of the top hosts at TSC and I

my shows' information. Tiffany studies her products and guests well and is truly a delight to work with.

Ms. Jones possesses a rare combination of technical expertise and personal comfort in front of the camera and a live audience that only a few people in the world possess. Her ability in this regard has a direct and positive impact on viewership for the home shopping networks on which she appears, and sales for their clients whose products she showcases. During my more than 25 years in the TV Shopping Industry, both in front of and behind the camera, I have learned both identify and nurture the particular type of talents which enable an on-air host to connect with a viewer and to perform a complete and compelling product demonstration. The ability to be simultaneously informative, entertaining and available is very rare in any arena, and is the ability that I recognized in Tiffany Jones at first exposure. In my previous capacity as Vice President, On-Air Talent with ShopNBC, it was my responsibility to recruit and maintain top professionals to serve as on-air hosts for the network's home shopping programs. The level of difficulty in finding such talent cannot be understated. The role of an on-air host is a difficult one and requires the person serving in this capacity to have a variety of skills, many of which are innate characteristics and all but impossible to teach. One cannot, for example, train an individual to be comfortable in front of the camera, or have the physical and mental presence required to connect with an audience in a live television broadcast. Given that there are currently 3 main home shopping networks in the U.S., it's likely that there are less than 30 people in the country who have the ability to function in this role, and Ms. Jones is one of those people. Ms. Jones first came to my attention through several of our vendors who also present their product lines on The Shopping Channel (TSC), the preeminent shopping channel in Canada. After reviewing her on-air work it quickly became apparent that Ms. Jones was truly an exceptional talent and a top prospect among all available host candidates. She was ultimately selected for the position and became a full-time host for ShopNBC in the U.S. in August 2012. Ms. Jones was brought to the ShopNBC team in large part due to her mastery of her craft. She possesses a rare blend of technical expertise and personal comfort in front of the camera that few of us ever achieve. Ms. Jones was also a highly sought after talent because of the versatility she demonstrated through her work with TSC. While it is not unusual for a top host to excel in two or three product categories, it is rare indeed to find a true generalist who is equally accomplished

She has proven herself to be as comfortable and adept at showcasing skin care and beauty products as she is at promoting clothing lines and exercise equipment. Because of the nature of the position there has always been paucity of qualified applicants for on-air hosting positions across the industry. Given her qualifications and abilities, Ms. Jones is truly a rare and unique talent. It should also be noted that along with her on screen presence and product versatility, Ms. Jones' skills as an on-air host are manifest in her high rate of per-minute sales. Sometimes referred to as dollars-per-minute (DPM), this critical metric is used across the home shopping industry to measure the impact a host can have on the products he/she is assigned to host, and to provide comparisons across product ranges or between hosts. Retail partners are often availed of DPM rates for given hosts and are thus aware of the impact a given on-air host can have on the sales of their products. In Tiffany's case, her impact was immediately visible. As is the case with all new hosts, Tiffany started in the overnight hours, and within weeks was beginning to achieve DPM levels that would be expected only in the more profitable parts of the day. Tiffany is by far, one of the top hosts at TSC and I always look forward to working with her for my shows due to her high intelligence and ability to think on her feet. I present nutritional supplements and other hosts often have difficulty with the complexity of my shows' information. Tiffany studies her products and guests well and is truly a delight to work with. Tiffany is not only a beautiful presenter, inside and out, but also very diligent at getting the most pertinent information about each product being aired, out to the viewers in a fun, interactive and professional manner.
