Provide information about   		  the companyBefore writing in your email the details of why you wish for them to become a sponsor, start off your email by giving them related information about the company. Make sure that this is the first paragraph in the email. In doing this the sponsor will know the type of company you are.This is a very crucial part of the email, since this will play an important factor to the potential sponsor in determining if he/she would like to be linked to your company.
Draw Similarities between both  the company and the  		    sponsorMake sure you draw similarities between your company and the sponsor.Drawing similarities will allow the sponsor to clearly identify why you want their sponsorship.
    Explain the Benefits, get    	     them interested. Explain what benefits they would have if they decided to become a sponsor.Let them know in what ways will they be recognized as a sponsor.    E.g. Having the           sponsors name          printed on banners,           tickets, ect.By explaining the benefits you can manage to get them interested in the sponsorship.
Overall composure of the emailKeep the email short to one page. Provide the necessary contact information, so that they can contact you.Make sure that within the email you write the important points you wish to get across on why you want them to become a sponsor for your company.
