This document is the beginning of a story about a boy named Jay who attends college. Jay lost his mother and now lives alone, staying removed from others. The story introduces three other boys referred to as "the timers" who seem to have a mysterious power over time. Jay also possesses a power that is not yet revealed. The story is told from the perspective of Jay's deceased mother who can now communicate after death. It sets up intrigue around what powers Jay and the other characters hold and how those powers will influence the unfolding story.

EXT. SMOKING AREA - DAY
JAY is having a cigarette in the smoking area by himself
looking bluntly at the college grounds.
MOTHER- (V.O.)
In any story, there's always the
good guy and there's always the
bad. Usually the good guys win and
the bad loose, but in this case
with people that hold a power they
are neither good or bad. A power
that each human possesses chooses
the person's fate, and how they use
the power decides whether they're
the good or the bad.
Jay breathes the smoke out and continues to stay seated
within the smoking area.
EXT. FIELD SURROUNDED BY TREES - DAY
MOTHER- (V.O.)
Those gifted enough to withhold a
power are those usually less
fortunate. Jay for instance, he
lost his mother due to an
unfortunate coincidence. He now
attends Ground View College.
Without having anyone to watch over
him, he lives by himself and stays
out of everybody's business
A group of boys are seen in the field all wearing black
hoodies and looking at the floor, they suddenly all turn
their heads and their eyes appear glazed.
MOTHER- (V.O.)
The bad guys, stereotypically, it
would be those three in the black.
Nasty bastards! They like to call
themselves the timers.(timers,
timers timers)
EXT. SMOKING AREA - DAY
Jay carries on smoking his cigarette
INT. CORRIDOR IN COLLEGE - DAY
Jay is standing still at the end of the corridor, he stands

strong as if he's in control of everything and everyone
around him.
JAY
Shhhhh...(he puts his finger to his
lips, smerks and disappears)
Two girls are talking about Jay in the smoking area.
GIRL 1
Do you know his power?
GIRL 2
No, nobody does, i don't think that
i've ever even heard him speak.
GIRL 1
What's wrong with him?
The two girls spot jay.One of the girls clicks her fingers,
jay looks confused, shrugs and carries on smoking
MOTHER (V.O.)
Jay's a quiet boy now, he never
used to be,until his mother passed
away. I know his power, i never did
until now. Now that im no longer
dead.
Jay puts out his cigarette and experiences flash backs.
