En este informe, el Departamento de Estudios Sociales de FUSADES indaga cuál ha sido el desempeño de la política social en la promoción del bienestar de los salvadoreños. También propone criterios para valorar la pertinencia de las políticas y los programas sociales en su respuesta a las distintas demandas de la población.
Pese a que la política social ha venido ganando importancia y algunos indicadores de condiciones de vida muestran mejoría, esta no ha sido lo suficientemente eficaz para lograr que todas las familias y las personas puedan enfrentar los riesgos de la vida (vejez, enfermedad, discapacidad, etc.) o de la naturaleza, sin sacrificar su bienestar presente o futuro.

The Health Finance and Governance project has worked with the National Health Mission in Punjab to conduct an assessment of the routine health information systems across three districts in the state. The assessment team utilized the Performance of Routine Information Systems (PRISM) Framework to conduct the exercise, including the Performance Diagnostic Tool, the Overview and Facility/Office Checklist, the Management Assessment Tool and the Organizational and Behavioral Assessment Tool (OBAT). Site visits for data collection and interviews were conducted over a six-week period from mid-June 2014 to late-July 2014. Based on the data collected and analyzed from 24 health facilities across the three districts of Barnala, Mansa and Patiala, this report contains the key findings and recommendations from the PRISM assessment.
