The first year public relations students at Cape Peninsula University of Technology were assigned to organize a farewell event for third year students as a class project, which would count significantly towards their semester grade. They had to plan and fund the event without a budget, so spent three months raising funds. Through their efforts, they were able to successfully hold the third year farewell function without a budget, as evidenced by the photos of the decorated event space, photo booth, gift bags, and tables.

1. The third year farewell was a project given to us the first year public relations students at the cape peninsula university of technology. In our course we are expected to organize an event which counts the bulk of our semester mark. We had to organize this event without being given a budget. So we raised funds throughout the 3 months we had to organize the farewell. We made enough money throughout and the pictures below is the final third year function; The result of our hard work.
