A farmer invested his savings in a thoroughbred horse that became ill within a month. A vet said the horse had a virus and needed medicine twice daily, or it would be put down in three days if not able to walk. A piglet overheard and pleaded with the horse to get up, fearing it would be killed. On the third day, when the vet came to put the horse down, the piglet raced over and urged the horse to get up or it was "now or never." Gathering its strength, the horse stood up and raced out of the stables, to the farmer's joy and celebration.
