Bob and Betty Newbie are playing through the tutorial of The Sims. Bob uses a "cheat" to max out all of his skills. Betty finishes her skill challenge before Bob and gets a job. Despite starting without skills, Betty is promoted before Bob. On the third day, their friend Melissa comes over to visit. By the end of the rotation, both Bob and Betty are promoted at their jobs and have befriended neighbors.

6. The infamous Bob Newbie.
At this point I decided to do the Newbie cheat which
is to skill all to max since they don’t loose motives
other than energy and hygiene when exercising.

7. Had to play the tutorial until Betty Newbie showed
up.

8. Sold all furniture except the bookcase, then bought
the two chairs. Life on speed three until finished.
If it didn’t require input from me I just let them go
until the bars above their heads disappeared.

9. They have a lot of plantings so they got a gardener.

10. Some of the flowers are stacked; guess move
objects existed well before The Sims 2.

18. I only spotted the three, if I come across another
one I will post it then.

19. Added a pool for body, decided that was more fun than the
exercise machine. Then I remembered they could die from
drowning so I had to pay attention to the screen much closer.

20. Since they can now get dirty they get a bathroom.

21. And since sleeping doesn’t help when the motives are
frozen they get a coffee machine since past experience
with this shows that the espresso machine breaks a lot.

22. Betty joins Bob swimming.

23. They get a maid now because of the bathroom and
Bob appears to be a slob.

24. Despite the fact that Bob started the game with skills and
Betty didn’t, she is actually the first to finish the skill
challenge and get a job on day 20. She got a business job.

25. Bob finished much later that night so he got the
same job.

26. The morning of the next day I will trigger the motives
decay so I start buying stuff for them to replace what I
sold.

27. Motives begin decaying because I have now
completed the tutorial.

28. I love that car!

29. Their house in the morning. The lack of a bed does
worry me, but I figure their income will help when
they get home.

30. But then I remembered the bills come today as well.

31. But they both got promoted on the first day so no
problems.

32. And I managed to get them happy enough with
each other to sleep in the same bed.

34. Love! They generally hate each other in my games
so very happy this happened quickly.

36. New sofa for higher comfort score, chairs moved to
bedroom.

37. Some one else dressed like Mortimer Goth comes
over; Rudy Valentino will also get a new outfit
because only Mortimer can wear that.

38. And now they are friends.

40. Betty got a second promotion on the second day.

41. Third day: Melissa Roomie came over.

42. Bob slept on the sofa since he had spent so much
time befriending the other person yesterday.

43. Ended up going part way into the fourth day, Bob
got second promotion.

45. This will be their new car.
