The Great Wall of China, Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, and the Taj Mahal in Agra were voted as three of the New Seven Wonders of the World in an international poll. The other winners were the Colosseum in Rome, Chichen Itza pyramid in Mexico, Machu Picchu citadel in Peru, and Petra ancient city in Jordan. These landmarks were selected as some of the most magnificent man-made creations in history based on millions of votes from around the world.
