Connecting Local Farmers to Underserved
Communities.
The Plan
To provide fresh produce to communities in need.
To bring fresh produce from farmers and
teach people what it means to LOVE the
earth and their body. To act as an activist
for healthy living. The BIG Green Truck is
here to provide access to natural foods to
both underserved communities and
communities that simply enjoy fresh
produce.
How it works...
TBGT will travel throughout Fulton
County. Areas with a dense population
and areas that have low access to fresh
food markets will be our main targets of
business.
Between the traffic and
the lack of
transportation, there are
many people in Fulton
County that have a hard
time purchasing natural
foods.
How it works...
Think of an ice cream truck. It brings treats and ice cream to every corner of the
the US. Imagine that, like the Ice Cream truck, you knew that TBGT would come
to your neighborhood, apartment complex, community park, etc, and instead of ice
cream, there were boxes of strawberries, blueberries, cucumbers, onions,
tomatoes, and any other kind of fresh produce for you to purchase. We accept all
major forms of payment and EBT.
The Specifics...
Licensed by the Department of Agriculture to be a rolling store throughout Fulton
County, TBGT is able to reach any city street, park, lot, etc and provide a produce
market pop up for a period of time. Throughout the growth of TBGT we will be
training our communities to recognize our scheduled service and how it will enrich
their lives not only through natural, healthy food purchases, but availability and
access.
