Where do lies come from and what is their purpose? • 你們是出於你們的父魔鬼，你們父的私慾你們偏要行。他從起初是殺人的， 不守真理，因他心裡沒有真理。他說謊是出於自己，因他本來是說謊的， 也是說謊之人的父。 ( 約翰福音 8:44) • You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)
