What is the Department of Neighborhood ServicesNeighborhood ServicesNeighborhood ServicesNeighborhood Services ?
The City receives Community Development Block Grant funding from the Department of
HUD, and Neighborhood Services ensures the use of funds address priorities in the
Consolidated Plan and meet HUD requirements. Neighborhood Services uses CDBG
and other resources to administer:
• Housing Rehabilitation Programs
• Neighborhood Leadership Academy
• Proactive Code Enforcement and Rental Inspection Programs in revitalization
areas
• Neighborhood Outreach
• Non-profits funding to offer services for LMI people
