Product description
Texaco Ursa Ultra X 10W-40 is an ultra high performance synthetic diesel engine
lubricant, formulated with the highest quality base stocks and advanced technology
additive systems.
This leading edge formulation offers superior lubrication performance and extended
engine service life in Euro-4 and latest Euro-5 heavy duty, close tolerance diesel
engines. Texaco Ursa Ultra X is designed for use at high temperatures and under the
most severe operating conditions. This advanced lubricant is also backward
compatible and suitable for use in certain older engines.
Texaco Ursa Ultra X is a low sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (low SAPS)
formulation. This latest generation lubricant is designed to provide extended service
life and reduce maintenance costs in after treatment systems including diesel
particulate filters (DPF), continuously regenerating trap systems (CRT) and engines
using selective catalytic reduction (SCR).

Applications
• Recommended for use in severe duty, naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel
truck and bus engines, with open or closed crank case ventilation when very long
oil drain intervals are required
• Designed to provide improved performance and service life in after treatment
systems including diesel particulate filters (DPF), continuously regenerating trap
systems (CRT) and engines using selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technologies
• For the correct oil drain intervals users are advised to consult the relevant
manufacturer or the specific engine manual

Product Data Sheet Texaco Ursa® Ultra X 10W-40 Ultra high performance synthetic diesel engine lubricant (UHPD) Product highlights: • Meets latest Euro-4 and Euro-5 specifications • Extended oil drain intervals • Low SAPS • Extends service life of DPF, CRT and SCR systems • Selected specification standards and OEM approvals include: - ACEA - Mercedes-Benz - MAN - Renault Truck - MTU - Volvo Product description Texaco Ursa Ultra X 10W-40 is an ultra high performance synthetic diesel engine lubricant, formulated with the highest quality base stocks and advanced technology additive systems. This leading edge formulation offers superior lubrication performance and extended engine service life in Euro-4 and latest Euro-5 heavy duty, close tolerance diesel engines. Texaco Ursa Ultra X is designed for use at high temperatures and under the most severe operating conditions. This advanced lubricant is also backward compatible and suitable for use in certain older engines. Texaco Ursa Ultra X is a low sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (low SAPS) formulation. This latest generation lubricant is designed to provide extended service life and reduce maintenance costs in after treatment systems including diesel particulate filters (DPF), continuously regenerating trap systems (CRT) and engines using selective catalytic reduction (SCR). Customer benefits • Excellent long-term wear protection increases engine service life • Long oil service life extends drain periods, increasing uptime • Thermal stability improves engine and turbocharger cleanliness, reduces varnish, black sludge and downtime • Low sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (low SAPS) formulation for reduced emissions output • Improves service life of DPF, CRT and SCR systems • Wide temperature performance, viscosity control and shear stability • Long-term corrosion resistance maximises component service life • Increased fuel efficiency and engine power output

Applications • Recommended for use in severe duty, naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel truck and bus engines, with open or closed crank case ventilation when very long oil drain intervals are required • Designed to provide improved performance and service life in after treatment systems including diesel particulate filters (DPF), continuously regenerating trap systems (CRT) and engines using selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technologies • For the correct oil drain intervals users are advised to consult the relevant manufacturer or the specific engine manual Approvals Performance • ACEA E6-04 Issue 2 • ACEA E7-04 Issue 2 • ACEA E4-99 Issue 3 valid until 31st Dec 2008 (*) Please note this is not ACEA E4-07as it doesn’t meet the TBN limitation of 12 mg KOH per ASTM D2896.
