4. HOLY THURSDAY: WATCH AND PRAY
THE BENEVOLENCE OF GOD: Before I bless you I have to give
you Spiritual Food and our spiritual food is drawn from:
MATTHEW 26:31
"Then saith Jesus unto them, All shall be offended because of me
this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd and the
sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad."
Brethren, you all are aware of what today is. It was on a night
like this that certain unique events occurred which transformed
the world for the entire mankind to receive salvation. It is the
revelation of the passage read to you that has kept us till now.
Many of you do not know the purpose for which you are called.
You simply come here to be ordained and your feet washed. THE
ESSENTIAL THING THAT SHOULD PREOCCUPY YOUR MIND IS YOUR PERSONAL
SALVATION WHICH YOU HAVE IGNORED. It should have been the pre-occupation
of the entire humanity to show a thankful heart to
the being who paid that supreme and final sacrifice for the
redemption of mankind. Many people believe that Our Lord had
come while a lot of others are still expecting Him to crash-land
from the skies. THAT IS WHY IT IS NECESSARY TO BRING TO YOUR
REMEMBRANCE THAT IT WAS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIKE THIS THAT OUR
LORD JESUS CHRIST PAID THAT SUPREME SACRIFICE.
WE KEEP "WATCH AND PRAY SERVICE" EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO
COMMEMORATE THIS SIGNIFICANT EVENT. TO DAY IS NOT A DAY TO BE
TOYED WITH. THAT WAS WHY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST ASKED HIS
DISCIPLES TO WATCH WITH HIM FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR. He was
arrested at 3:00 am, being the early hours of THURSDAY MORNING,
AND THAT IS WHY WE IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR CONDUCT
OUR "WATCH AND PRAY" UNTIL 3:00 AM AND BEYOND.
IT WAS ALSO ON THAT FATEFUL WEDNESDAY NIGHT THAT HE WASHED THE
FEET OF THE TWELVE DISCIPLES AND UNITED THEM AS ONE. There we
have nothing to do with time because all things are done as the
Father pleases. His actions can never be challenged or
questioned. All things done here have their spiritual essence.
THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT BEEN OBSERVING WATCH AND PRAY SESSIONS
SHOULD START RIGHT NOW IN EARNEST TO OBSERVE IT. IT IS
IMPERATIVE TO DO SO IN ABSOLUTE LOVE AND APPRECIATION OF OUR

5. LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO DIED FOR US. Therefore being elected as
prophet and your feet or hand washed is merely a secondary
issue. THE CRUX OF THE MATTER IS TO SHOW APPRECIATION TO OUR
LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR USING HIS BLOOD TO PURCHASE AND TO
TRANSFORM HUMANITY. AND YOU SHOULD AGREE WITH ME THAT IF IT WERE
NOT THE ARREST THAT NIGHT AND HIS ULTIMATE DEATH, THE WORD OF
GOD WOULD HAVE BEEN IN VAIN. BUT IT HAD TO HAPPEN BECAUSE IT HAD
BEEN WRITTEN OF HIM. IT WAS GOD'S MASTER-PLAN. WE ARE SAVED BY
GRACE, WE SIMPLY INHERIT THIS KINGDOM THROUGH HIS MAGNANIMITY,
AND THEREFORE THIS TIME OF HIS RULE AND REIGN SHOULD NOT BE
TOYED WITH. Your mundane wisdom, riches, position, or even
suggestion is not needed here. You are to enjoy this kingdom
gratis. There is nobody who will not want to be here, but the
reality of it is that it is only those who are needed that are
called. THE ABILITY TO DO SOMETHING COMES FROM THE FATHER AND
NOT FROM ANYBODY ELSE. AND YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING BETTER THAN
WHAT HE HAS PREORDAINED FOR YOU.
