• Technology companies are finding fertile ground for growth in central Florida with an ever-expanding
labor force and highly competitive rental rates across the Orlando area submarkets.
• Orlando’s central business district is beginning to capture more of this interest as Creative Village begins
to take shape with EA Sports secured as an anchor tenant for the 1.0+ billion dollar development.
• Lake Mary has been the favorite submarket of tech firms over the past 5 years with more than 600,000
square feet of leasing activity, lead by firms with big footprints like Fiserv (135,000 s.f.), CentralSquare
(87,000 s.f.), and Finastra (109,000 s.f.).
• The University Area submarket is also reaping the benefits of this tech boom, capitalizing on the massive
talent pipeline coming out of UCF and an abundance of flex/ R&D space.
