Operation Christmas Child!
A simple gift with eternal impact!
It’s exciting to see how many
are preparing shoebox gifts for
Operation Christmas Child this
year! Here are a few suggestions:
You do not have to tape the
boxes, however, you may put a
heavy rubber band around the
box if you need to hold the lid
down. Be sure to include the shipping donation
of $7 if you are able. Use the brochure envelope
available in the foyer. Just place it inside your box
on the top. Pray for the child who will receive your
box! Plan to return all your boxes to the church
worship center on November 8.
Prayer Walk for our Nation - Sunday, November 8
TCCC has scheduled a Prayer Walk on Sunday afternoon
November 8. We will plan to leave the church building at 2:30
pm and walk to the Courthouse Plaza downtown. During the
walk we plan to sing songs and recite
scripture and pledges in a peaceful,
non-disruptive manner. We may even
carry our Bibles (no-signs) to show
our neighbors that our Country was
founded on scriptural principles and
we are praying that it will to return to those principles. We plan
to meet at the Plaza at 4 pm for a brief time of scripture and
prayer. If you are unable to walk with us, please join us at the
Plaza at 4 pm. For those walking from the church, we will plan to
have transportation available from the Plaza back to the church.
Please join us in prayer for our country and in this special
walk!

Orphan Sunday
November 8
Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Tates Creek’s
involvement in orphan care
locally and globally. Find out
how you can get involved now
to change the lives of many!
Please see the table in the foyer
or contact Matt Lee.
What If . . . Update
We are pleased and excited to
report that through the first year
of this 3 year campaign we have
already received about 53% of the total pledges, a total of
$757,226! This has enabled us to reduce our outstanding
debt from just over $1.5 million at the beginning of the
campaign to just over $772,000 at the end of October.
Please see the email attachment for more details.
