composite materials in aerospace application seminarChuchu Beera
This presentation discusses composite materials used in aerospace applications. It begins with an introduction to composite materials, their classification, and advantages for aerospace. Composites provide benefits like high strength to weight ratio, creep resistance, and toughness. Examples are given of composites used in Boeing aircraft like the 777 and 787, which contain 12% and over 50% composites respectively, especially carbon fiber reinforced plastics. The presentation concludes that composites will continue to play an important role in aircraft due to properties like low weight and durability.
How the consumer shift to online media channels is changing the marketing mix.
(All research is cited. Special shout out to Hubspot and Aberdeen Group, both great resources on the subject matter).
A case study written by myself with a team of my classmates. We explored Mark Zuckerberg's leadership style and how his vision enabled young leaders in the Middle East to start a revolution.

Nanocomposites have various applications in aircraft construction and jet engines due to their beneficial properties. They can be used as strengthening elements in aircraft structures or as skin for honeycomb structures on wings and fuselages. Carbon-carbon composites with carbon fiber reinforcement and polymer or carbon matrices are used for high temperature components. Nanocomposites with zirconia matrices provide thermal protection for turboengine parts. Nanocoatings made from ceramics with nano-particles can increase adhesion, decrease oxygen permeability, and improve resistance to thermal shock for thermal barrier coatings on jet engines.
This document discusses smart textiles and their applications in sports. It begins by asking how smart textiles will change the textile and fashion industries. It then provides examples of smart textiles for sports, including shirts that can monitor heart rate, respiration, temperature and posture. Other examples discussed are an arm band that flashes light for runners and a jacket that monitors ECG and heart rate. The document also describes a smart sleeve designed to help with basketball shooting rhythm and discusses how temperature sensors can be integrated into textiles. It concludes by noting how flexible electronics are printed onto substrates that can conform to surfaces like clothing.

The 650 series inverters provide speed control for AC motors from 0.3 to 150 Hp using v/Hz and sensorless vector control. They have simple setup and operation with pre-programmed application modes. The drives come with a removable or remote mountable keypad, digital and analog I/O, and meet relevant safety standards. They are available in single or three-phase models with optional EMC filters or brake switching depending on horsepower needs.
