A Guide to Archery Scoring

The target is divided into 10
scoring rings, whereby each
colored area is split into two
parts. Each part represent
different points which
illustrated on the left. The “X”
and “10” rings score as 10
points.
An arrow that is touching a line
separating rings (a line
cutter), scores the value of the
higher scoring ring.

Scores are recorded on a score sheet with
the highest scoring arrow recorded first.
For example “9 , 7 ,1” in the 1st end on the
left. An arrow that does not score is called
a miss and is marked “M” and number of
Hits will deduce by number of miss. Eg.
2nd end has one miss .
