Accenture has acquired cloud and digital transformation consultancy Infinity Works.
The acquisition strengthens and expands the cloud delivery and engineering
capabilities of Accenture Cloud First in the UK. Terms of the acquisition were not
disclosed. With experience across multiple sectors from retail to financial services
and some of the largest digital-led projects in national government, Infinity Works
helps some of the country’s most recognised brands digitally transform. It provides a
range of value-adding services including cloud, data, design and research, mobile,
and full-stack engineering. Headquartered in Leeds, Infinity Works has offices across
the UK including Manchester, Edinburgh and London. Founded in 2014, Infinity
Works employs approximately 440 highly skilled people including experienced
software engineers, data engineers, cloud architects, and cloud certified specialists.
Infinity Works has deep relationships with key ecosystem players, including AWS,
and is recognised as an Advanced Consulting Partner in the AWS Partner Network.

Accenture has acquired Edenhouse, a UK-based independent SAP partner. The
acquisition will further enhance Accenture’s capabilities to support clients in their
digital transformation journey. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Founded
in 2008 and an SAP platinum partner, Edenhouse specializes in the sale,
implementation, support, and hosting of SAP products and services to mid-sized
businesses. Edenhouse’s SAP specialists have a broad breadth of technical
knowledge, coupled with deep industry and line of business experience — spanning
on-premises and cloud-based solutions — to help clients unleash the full power of
SAP solutions and get increased value from their investments. Edenhouse has won a
number of awards since its inception, the most recent being the SAP EMEA North
Award for Partner Excellence 2021 for Top SME Cloud Performer. The acquisition
will scale Accenture’s capabilities in the UK to address accelerated demand for
SAP’s cloud-based solutions. Edenhouse’s team of 220 professionals will join

Accenture Acquires Businet System to Help Clients Deliver Personalized and
Seamless Cloud-Based Ecommerce Experiences at Speed and Scale
Accenture has acquired Businet System, a leader in developing and operating
Salesforce Commerce Cloud-based ecommerce sites in Japan, with a proprietary
order management system (OMS) for the apparel and retail industries. As the world
of ecommerce has fundamentally shifted, companies are looking for a customized
and personalized experience for their customers powered by technology. Accenture’s
breadth of technological capabilities together with human ingenuity combined with
Businet System’s industry ecommerce capabilities will be a winning formula for
clients. Businet System’s 40 employees will join Accenture Interactive in Japan.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Since its founding in 1999, Businet
System has developed and operated ecommerce sites for more than 60 companies
mainly within the domestic apparel and retail industries. Businet System’s
proprietary OMS works seamlessly with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and has been
implemented at clients across industries. Combined with Accenture’s broader global
ecosystem, including its long-standing strategic relationship with Salesforce, this
acquisition will help clients reimagine their ecommerce business around delivering

Motiv
Atos announced that it has completed the acquisition of Motiv ICT Security, the largest independent Managed Security

Atos and HDF energy to develop the first green hydrogen datacenter

Solution Description
Atos and HDF Energy announce their plan to develop a complete end-to-end long-term solution to supply datacenters with green hydrogen
generated by renewable energy. The new solution by Atos and HDF will be the first available on the market for datacenters with heavy power
consuming workloads, with the aim to demonstrate, in 2023, a first full production center operated using green hydrogen. Atos will provide a
complete end-to-end green datacenter solution by designing and providing the hardware, software and integration services that make it possible to
exploit the electricity produced by green hydrogen so that it can be used in datacenters. This includes using the most advanced Artificial
Intelligence (AI) technologies to optimize energy consumption. HDF Energy will supply a power plant, which will provide predictable and firm
electricity thanks to its high-powered fuel cells. These cells will be powered by green hydrogen derived from photovoltaic or wind farms.
Datacenters have high energy needs, operate 24/7, 365 days a year, and cannot experience the slightest energy flaw. Therefore, the approach taken
by Atos and HDF is particularly ambitious, as by its very nature, solar or wind energy is clean but intermittent, variable in its production and
unpredictable, making it an unstable energy. At a time when datacenter energy consumption is becoming a key issue and it is essential to consider
new energy models, this new solution from Atos and HDF will enable datacenter operators and cloud operators to anticipate potential future

New electric vehicle standards to advance UK battery manufacturing in
support of cleaner transport

BSI, in its role as the UK National Standards Body, has published two standards as part of the Faraday Battery Challenge
Standardization Programme to help support the UK’s Electric Vehicle capability. The standards are an important step in
creating a sustainable UK battery manufacturing supply chain and will help prepare for the phasing out of diesel and petrol
vehicles by 2030. The new standards underpin innovation and enables consistent practices in the production of batteries
and the development of battery technology with guidance on health, safety and environmental considerations in battery
manufacturing and use. They will support the industry by providing good practice and efficiencies as it works towards its
self-sufficient battery manufacturing target in 2035, whilst supporting UK’s wider transport decarbonization and Net Zero

EY announces extension of blockchain solution deployment in China on Ethereum and Financial Blockchain
Shenzhen Consortium Blockchain Open-Source platform in cooperation with Blockchain Service Network.

EY announces it has joined the Financial Blockchain Shenzhen Consortium (FISCO), a non-profit organization dedicated to the use of blockchain
for financial applications. EY teams will use Blockchain Service Network (BSN) to offer EY Blockchain Analyzer and EY OpsChain to users in
China and across the EY Asia-Pacific region on the FISCO BCOS platform. EY teams will also use BSN’s forthcoming controlled-access service
to help enable regulatory-compliant access to the Ethereum network in China. Decision-makers in China are prioritizing blockchain for digital
transformation – 73% of respondents say that blockchain will be very or extremely important for their firms’business and strategic priorities in the
next 12 months1. EY teams are leveraging the FISCO BCOS platform to broaden the availability of its blockchain solutions in the Chinese market.
BCOS runs on BSN, a global blockchain hosting and applications platform. EY OpsChain will be the first EY solution deployed on BSN, including
procurement and traceability functions for enterprise users. EY teams will use BSN to complete the integration and deployment of EY Blockchain
Analyzer for blockchain analytics and financial statement audit. Initial availability will focus on the planned open permissioned version of
Ethereum in China with a future extension to a controlled access version of the Ethereum network across the globe when it becomes available.

BSI announced that it has certified its first Active Implantable Medical Device (AIMD) products, Abbott’s neuromodulation clinician
programmer app and its patient controller app for use on compatible personal Apple‡ smartphone devices, to the Medical Devices
Regulation (MDR) (EU 2017/745) via its Notified Body in The Netherlands (2797). All Active Implantable Medical Devices and their
accessories are classified as Class III and subject to the most rigorous regulatory controls. The BSI certificate is our first to meet the EU
Technical Documentation Assessment Certificate, Regulation (EU) 2017/745, Annex IX, Chapter II. Abbott’s Clinician Programmer app
enables clinicians to create customized therapy for neurological conditions, including chronic pain or movement disorders, and the
Patient Controller app helps patients manage their prescribed stimulation programs. This certification allows Abbott’s portfolio of
neuromodulation devices, including Infinity™ DBS System for patients with Parkinson's disease or disabling tremor, as well as Proclaim
™ XR SCS System and Proclaim™ DRG Neurostimulation System for patients living with chronic pain, to be controlled from a tablet

Atos boosts supercomputing power by 10 for Spanish State Meteorological

Atos announces that it has been selected by the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) to supply and install its
computing and storage technology, through the tender “Contracting of Supply through leasing without the option to
purchase a Supercomputing System for the AEMET”. Based on the BullSequana supercomputing architecture from Atos,
the new supercomputer will provide almost ten times more computing capacity than the current one which was installed
in the 2014. This new supercomputer will reinforce and expand AEMET’s current computing capabilities to boost research
in different areas such as weather forecasting, climate change, wave prediction and support its collaboration with

Atos, Axione and Siemens to manage multi-service network and monitoring
of three new metro lines in Paris

Atos, Axione and Siemens have been awarded the contract to supply, implement and maintain the multi-service network and video surveillance system for three
of the four future Parisian metro lines (15, 16 and 17) which are part of « Grand Paris Express », the largest urban transport project in Europe. The project includes
the construction of an automatic metro around Paris to avoid passing through the center of the French capital. The contract awarded to Atos, Axione and Siemens
is worth €153 million and will continue until the construction of the Grand Paris Express is completed. The new automatic metro lines (underground and
overground), which will span 129 km and have 49 stations, will serve not only business and residential districts and airports, but also numerous local amenities.
These transport lines will help create a new dynamic by increasing economic and social opportunities in the Paris region and beyond. For this ambitious project,
Atos, Axione and Siemens will bring together their industrial and technological expertise in the design, construction, implementation and deployment of the
network infrastructures, datacenters, and access control and intrusion detection technologies. They will also manage telephony, air quality monitoring and
intelligent video surveillance solutions. Finally, they will ensure the digital security of all systems. All these services will support the construction of the
infrastructure over a long-term period. The three companies are committed to supporting the Société du Grand Paris throughout the duration of the contract with
this proactive environmental approach to develop a modern and reliable public transportation network. This project shows how the expertise of the three companies

BAE Systems received a $247 million contract from the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center to design and manufacture an
advanced military GPS receiver and next-generation semiconductor. The technology will provide positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT)
capabilities to warfighters so they can execute missions in challenging electromagnetic environments. The Military GPS User Equipment
Increment 2 Miniature Serial Interface program will provide improved capabilities for size-constrained and power-constrained military GPS
applications, including precision-guided munitions and battery-powered handheld devices. The program will focus on the certification of an
advanced application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and the development of an ultra-small, low-power GPS module. Both products will work
with the next-generation military M-Code signal technology, which provides reliable GPS data with anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities
to protect against electronic warfare threats. BAE Systems’ Precision Strike business has 45 years of military GPS experience and more than 1.5
million GPS devices on over 280 platforms around the world. The company is currently producing M-Code GPS receivers in multiple form factors,
including the lowest power, smallest form factor M-Code solution available on the market today. Additional prototypes are in development for
ground, weapons, and airborne mission applications, and the company’s M-Code GPS products are available to U.S. allies via Foreign Military

U.S. Marine Corps awards BAE Systems $184 million for additional
ACVs

from the U.S. Marine Corps for more Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACV) under full-rate production. The order demonstrates the Marine Corps’
confidence in a program that is on track to deliver this critical capability to the Marines. This contract award will cover production, fielding, and
support costs for the ACV personnel carrier (ACV-P) variant. BAE Systems was awarded the first full-rate production contract option in December
for the first 36 vehicles. This option on that contract increases the total number of vehicles under full-rate production to 72, for a total value of $366
million. The ACV is a highly mobile, survivable, and adaptable platform for conducting rapid ship-to-shore operations and brings enhanced
combat power to the battlefield. BAE Systems is under contract to deliver two variants to the Marine Corps under the ACV Family of Vehicles
program: the ACV-P and the ACV command variant (ACV-C). A 30mm cannon (ACV-30) is currently under contract for design and development
and a recovery variant (ACV-R) is also planned. The Marine Corps selected BAE Systems along with teammate Iveco Defence Vehicles for the
ACV program in 2018 to replace its legacy fleet of Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAV), also built by BAE Systems. BAE Systems was also
recently awarded an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract worth up to $77 million for the ACV program that includes the

BAE Systems naval guns selected for Belgian and Dutch navies

BAE Systems has been selected to supply 12 Bofors 40 Mk4 naval guns to the Belgian and Dutch navies as part of the Mine
Counter Measures Vessels (MCMV) program. The shipbuilding company Kership will install the guns on the fleet of 12 mine
hunting vessels – six for Belgium, six for the Netherlands – with the first ship scheduled for delivery to the Belgian Navy in 2024.
The Bofors 40 Mk4 is a flexible, highly versatile gun system designed to react quickly in coastal environments. Lightweight and
compact, the naval gun system combines long range and a high rate of fire, giving the mine hunting vessels a greater level of
defense against surface, air, and shore-based threats. Offering high survivability and tactical freedom at all levels of conflict, the
Bofors 40 Mk4 also provides optimized ammunition types, including the cost-efficient programmable 3P ammunition. The ability
to automatically switch between different types of ammunition gives a high level of combat flexibility in the face of new threats
such as UAVs. The Bofors 40 Mk4 naval gun is the latest generation in the 40mm family and is used by numerous navies and
coast guards around the world. The system was most recently selected by Finland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

of America’s warfighters. The U.S. Navy selected BAE Systems for a five-year $65.7 million single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite
quantity contract for air traffic control (ATC) platform sustainment and engineering services. The company will continue to utilize its
engineering, technical, and operational expertise to develop, produce, equip, test, evaluate, sustain, and update key expeditionary ATC
aviation systems for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF). This new contract
continues BAE Systems’ more than a decade of supporting critical work on key systems, including the Standard Terminal Automation
Replacement System (STARS); Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System (ATNAVICS); Airfield Mobile Tactical Air
Navigation System (AMTAC); and ATNAVICS Data Link System (ADLS). Under the contract, the company will develop and maintain
operational software and supporting test beds, field change programs, and supplies for ATC systems. These systems are integral ATC tools

DTRA awards Leidos project to conduct clinical trials for COVID-19
therapeutics

Leidos a FORTUNE® 500 science and technology leader, was recently awarded a new project agreement by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency
(DTRA) to conduct clinical studies of therapeutics for treating COVID-19. The cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement was awarded through the Medical
CBRN Defense Consortium. It holds a base value of $22 million and a base period of performance of 24 months. Through this contract, Leidos
will use a new clinical trial prototype to enable real-time data collection, which will support rapid initiation, amendment and evaluation of studies.
Leidos will use the prototype to simultaneously conduct two clinical studies using new drug combinations to treat COVID-19. The studies will
seek safe and effective doses and regimens for coronavirus patients. The trials will also pursue enhancements to military success by improving
long-term lung function and reducing neurocognitive deficits caused by COVID-19. The Leidos trial prototype aims to enable quicker evaluations
and improvements as the study evolves. It uses an electronic data capture system to collect, evaluate and assess symptom severity as well as clinical
outcomes in real-time for patients. This could enable the trial’s data and safety monitoring board to quickly evaluate potential safety signals or
evidence of efficacy. The prototype is also designed to analyze the need for additional patients to show statistical significance. These evaluations
could improve potential Phase 3 studies and demonstrate efficacy using the selected drug combination.

Atos announces that it is raising its decarbonization ambition to reach “net zero” by 2028. With this ambition, Atos is committing
to reducing the global carbon emissions under its control and influence by 50% by 2025[1] (scopes 1, 2, 3[2]), and to offset all its
residual emissions by 2028. Atos’ new trajectory is 22 years ahead of the 2050 target set by the Paris Agreement to limit global
warming to 2°C by 2050 above pre-industrial levels, and 7 years ahead of the target previously set by the Group. With this
ambition, Atos also commits to reach the SBTi target by 2025. The SBTi target on greenhouse gas emission reduction aims to
limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Atos’ target is 5 years ahead of both the most stringent SBTi
pathway and of the target previously set by the Group. The decision to raise its ambition was motivated by the success of Atos’
decarbonization plans, which have already materialized into a reduction of the Group’s global carbon emissions by 15% in
2020[3] (from 3.3 to 2.8 M Tons CO2), of which an estimated 10% is structural improvement in addition to the conjunctural
