This document describes a student management system project created by Group 03 from the University of Jaffna. The goals of the project were to computerize the manual student record system to make it more efficient and accessible. It outlines the objectives, tools used in development including PHP, CSS, and SQL server. It provides a brief description of the interface design and database design. The database will include tables for basic student details, GCE A/L details, attendance records, and subject combinations. The project will allow viewing and editing of student records and administration of attendance and results.

7. TOOLS
 The following tools were used for
development of this system.
PHP programming language to develop the program code,
interface design.
Free css templates are used for the interface design.
Database dump was created through phpMyAdmin.
Sql server is selected as the tool to create database and tables.
