André Filiatrault has over 20 years of experience in structural engineering and earthquake engineering. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering Research at SUNY Buffalo and an adjunct professor at multiple universities. His research focuses on seismic design of structures, seismic performance of nonstructural components, and development of energy dissipating connections for steel frames. He has received several awards for his research and teaching contributions.
Wayne Terry has over 30 years of experience as a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, working on both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. He has extensive experience maintaining various helicopter models, including Eurocopter AS355, Bell 206, MD 369, and Robinson R22 and R44. He also has experience maintaining fixed wing aircraft such as the DHC-8, Boeing 737 and 767, and Airbus A320. Terry is licensed in New Zealand and Australia and has worked for several aviation companies, as well as on contract jobs in Antarctica and Macquarie Island. He has a broad range of training and qualifications related to aircraft maintenance.
