This document presents a proposal for developing a levitating air turbine to harness wind energy at high altitudes. The design would use conducive tethers and helium-filled structures to support the turbine in the air without a tower. Key benefits include accessing stronger winds higher above the ground, avoiding the need for tower construction, and allowing deployment in more locations. The proposal outlines reviewing existing research, developing CAD models, building and testing a prototype to access the untapped high altitude wind resource.
José Alberto Castillejo has over 20 years of experience as a software engineer and systems engineer. He received a degree in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has taken postgraduate courses in Unix/Solaris Administration. His skills include C/C++, .NET, Java, bash, Unix/Linux, and he has advanced English proficiency. He is currently studying to receive an English B2 certification from Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in Madrid.

The document summarizes the strategies used by the Azerbaijani government to control dissent online while maintaining a facade of internet freedom. It discusses how the government, opposition, and independent networks operate online. The government leaves the internet nominally open but engages in surveillance, propaganda campaigns, trolling, censorship, and arresting online critics. Opposition networks organize in collectives, with affiliations, or independently. The government strategy undermines opposition but some adapt innovatively, though the government maintains control for now through fear and punishment of dissent.
Flapping Foil Propulsion System in Ship and Underwater Vehicles Sharat Mathew
This document presents information on flapping foil propulsion systems for ships and underwater vehicles. It discusses how current marine propulsion systems have disadvantages like low efficiency and lack of eco-friendliness. Flapping foil propulsion aims to increase efficiency and be more environmentally friendly by mimicking the movement of living organisms. A flapping foil uses flexible polyurethane structures that allow variable angles of movement like fish. This type of propulsion could increase efficiency over 40% for ships and provide good maneuverability and scalability for underwater vehicles. The presentation provides details on the mechanics and advantages of flapping foil propulsion for both ships and underwater applications.
This is a presentation that contains detailed information about hypersonic vehicle or hyperplanes travelling at speeds upto 6 times the speed of sound. It also contains information about some hyperplanes like nasa x43, avatar hyperplane. This presentation also deals with the selection of suitable design for hyperplanes.
1. Indonesia has over 150,000 small fishing boats and 5,457 larger boats that require licenses and monitoring to prevent overfishing and illegal fishing.
2. Indonesia implemented a Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) using satellites and GPS to track registered fishing vessels and improve fisheries management.
3. The VMS allows Indonesia to monitor fishing vessel positions and activity, ensure compliance with regulations, and optimize sustainable use of fisheries resources.
