A two-and-a-half year old child was brutally raped by her school van driver in Bangalore, India in January 2014. Rajeev wrote to the Home Minister urging speedy justice and criminal action against the school authorities. He also suggested instituting policies for rigorous staff verification processes and a special court to fast track cases to prevent future incidents and help deliver justice. Rajeev's efforts helped add pressure to arrest the school principal and attendant accused of abetting the crime.

that the government institute a policy to ensure schools
follow a rigorous verification process while hiring drivers,
janitors and other support staff.to prevent such incidents in
the future,Rajeev’s efforts helped in adding pressure on
the police to eventually arrest the School Principal and the
attendant accused of abetting the crime.
