Christian Dingenotto completed a solo circumnavigation of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece in 2016. Over the course of several weeks, he paddled over 500 kilometers around the coastline, documenting his journey in daily diary entries. Some of the most challenging parts of the trip included a 48 kilometer day of continuous paddling, multiple crossings with headwinds, and an overnight paddle in rough surf conditions. Throughout the journey, Dingenotto encountered beautiful scenery, helpful locals, and occasional delays due to weather. In the end, he finished feeling happy and grateful for the experience of solo-paddling around the entire Peloponnese coast.
