Good Governance The entire management process of Smile Foundation is based on the principles of good governance. Policies  and  decisions  are made through a  four-tier system,  namely departments & divisions, executive committee, advisory body, and board of trustees. The  management ,  monitoring  and  accountability  are governed by a  four-tier audit system , namely  project audit ,  statutory audit ,  internal audit , and  external impact evaluation .  Optimum use of relevant technology is integrated with the whole system so as to ensure impartial  monitoring  and  optimisation of resource . Mission Education Through the Mission Education  programme, Smile Foundation provides  basic education  and  healthcare  to underprivileged  children At present, Smile Foundation has  74  Mission Education  projects  functional across 20 states of India. More than  35,000 children  living in urban slums and remote villages are being directly benefited from the projects  www.smilefoundationindia.org
Smile Twin e-Learning Programme (STeP) Through Smile Twin e-Learning Programme underprivileged youth are given training in key employability skills like English proficiency, computer operations, personality development etc. in order to help them get a job in the growing retail and service sector.  About 1800 STeP students have now been employed in companies like Café Coffee Day, Westside Stores, ICICI, HDFC, Reliance Retail, Big Bazaar, Spencers, Chroma etc. At present, 50 STeP centres are operational in 20 Indian states. Smile on Wheels Objectives: Providing mobile healthcare – preventive, comprehensive  to address the issues of  Accessibility Affordability Mobility Health seeking behaviour  Target beneficiaries: most underprivileged and deserving population in urban slums and remote villages Total reach:  250,000 needy people directly in 108 slums/villages across 11 Indian states, covering a population of 582,667. www.smilefoundationindia.org
Swabhiman   it means  self respect  in Hindi Broad objectives:  to empower girl children from low socio-economic strata, enabling them to live with dignity, improve health seeking behaviour, and function as change agents Prog. Objectives:  Self defence techniques, generating awareness Reproductive and Sexual Health issues; covering Safe Motherhood, Child Health, Family Planning, RTI/STI, HIV/AIDS Sensitizing adolescent girls on gender issues, Life Skill Education (LSE) including communication and negotiation skills  Providing Reproductive and Child Health Services through Mobile Health Clinic for currently married women, adolescents and children   Direct beneficiaries:  Adolescent Girls (10-19 years)  Eligible Women (15-49 years)   Present coverage : 12 communities; 80, 000 population  www.smilefoundationindia.org

About 150 grassroots NGOs, 10,000 individuals, more than 12,000 students from many prominent educational institutes like IIM Lucknow, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, International Management Institute, WGSHA Manipal, Delhi University, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, etc have already joined the programme. Child For Child Child For Child (CFC) is an endeavour to sensitize privileged school children about their underprivileged counterparts, inculcate values, and thus help them grow up as sensible citizens.
