CIDCO, a government agency responsible for development in Navi Mumbai, had previously implemented some SAP modules but in a non-integrated way across departments. To address issues from a lack of integration and outdated systems, CIDCO decided to fully implement SAP across all departments. The integrated SAP implementation was projected to cost Rs. 98 Crores and be completed between July 2015 to December 2016. It would cover core operations like finance, sales, materials, and projects, as well as additional modules like treasury management, reporting, citizen services, and payroll. The implementation was expected to provide benefits like quicker access to information, improved decision making, adoption of best practices, and increased efficiency, revenue, and customer service
The Legal Tracking System was developed to centralize information about all legal cases in a single database accessible through the web. Previously, case information was scattered across physical files and spreadsheets, making it difficult to monitor cases. The system allows efficient monitoring of over 8,800 court cases, provides updated case details to officers and lawyers, and increases transparency by allowing citizens to view case information online. It provides benefits like anytime access to legal documents, automated alerts, and consolidated litigation history and case statistics.
